The Charlotte County Family YMCA’s celebrating the grand opening of the Punta Gorda Club YMCA Thursday. The Herald-Tribune reports the new facility is in a 17,000-square-foot building off U.S. 41 and and Aqui Esta. Among the services that’ll be offered are health and wellness programs, fitness, personal training, tennis programs and massage therapy. The Punta Gorda Club YMCA grand opening starts at 5:15 p.m. Thursday with a ribbon-cutting ceremony and continues through April 21 with daily events and activities.
