The death of a Punta Gorda convenience store clerk has officially been ruled a homicide, according to police. 18-year-old Kyle Farishian died in a fire that occurred around 3am Sunday morning at the 7-11 at Bal Harbor Boulevard and Aqui Esta Drive. The store manager earlier told media that the fire seemed suspicious but would not elaborate.
