Kevin Williams has owned the Punta Gorda Speedway for the past two and a half years, and he and a business partner say they’re now owners of the DeSoto Super Speedway in southern Manatee County. The Englewood Sun’s reporting there’s speculation that Williams will be leaving the Punta Gorda Speedway when the current lease with the Charlotte County Airport Authority expires at the end of March.
