The Charlotte County Sheriff’s Major Crimes Unit investigating an early-morning robbery of a Circle K store in Punta Gorda. A store clerk told investigators a white male wearing a bandanna over his face entered the store a little before two A-M today with his hand inside a bag, implying he had a hand gun. The man demanded cash and left with an undisclosed amount. No shots were fired and there were no injuries. Deputies and a K9 unit scoured the area but have so far not located the suspect. That CIrcle K is in the 6100 block of Duncan Road in Punta Gorda.
