Protesters from six different cities as well as a local cycling club took to the streets yesterday morning.
Protestors lined the intersection of Center Road and East Village Drive in Venice, asking for change in the spot where four people were hit last Tuesday.
The groups want the speed limit along Center Road dropped from 45 to 35, and a traffic signal installed at that intersection.
Those same groups plan to be at a Sarasota County commission meeting tomorrow in order to make their pitch to officials.
