CCSO’s looking into a possible scam. It seems some county residents, particularly those in the area of Midway Blvd. near Lakeview Blvd., may have seen envelopes in their mailbox claiming to be soliciting funds for the Sgt. Michael Wilson Memorial Fund. You’re advised not to put any money in them, and throw them away. It seems someone got a hold of some of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church’s printed offering collection envelopes. If you know who’s distributed these envelopes, call CCSO, (941) 639-2101.
