A Charlotte County man’s been busted for allegedly stalking a high school girl in Fort Myers for months. Authorities allege 57-year old Pierre Fortunat started began following the girl from Coronado High School to her home in November of last year. NBC2 reports the girl’s told investigators Fortunat would try to get her into his car-offering to take her home, or to the mall. He slipped her a note at a stop sign with his phone number. The girl’s father called him and told him to leave her alone. Fortunat did not. After talking with the girl, police spotted Fortunat’s car, and arrested him. He’s also been identified in another alleged stalking incident in March.
