Detectives with the Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office are investigating the shooting deaths of a local father and son. The bodies of 54-year-old Robert Correia Sr. and his son, 31-year-old Robert Correia Jr. were found by a family friend Friday night inside a home on Inverness Street in Port Charlotte. Detectives say the deaths appear to be the result of a domestic dispute between the two men. The investigation is ongoing. Detectives are not releasing any further details about the incident.
