On April 17, 2013 at 4:34 am, the North Port Police Department responded to the 6600-BLK of Harmony Road in reference to a shooting. The victim sustained a gunshot wound to the chest and was flown via Bayflight to Blake Hospital in Bradenton. It was reported that he is in stable condition. Detectives and Criminalistics Specialists are on-scene at this time. The suspect, who is still unknown, fled the area prior to our arrival. This case remains an open and ongoing investigation.
