A Port Charlotte woman in critical condition today after an accident in which the police say the driver was drunk. 71-year-old Judith Paulson hospitalized following the crash on Rotonda Boulevard East near county road 771. She was a passenger in a car driven by 73-year-old Frank Paulson when it left the road, crossed a median and struck a palm tree. Officers say Frank Paulson has been charged with at least three D-U-I counts and reckless driving.
