Supporters of the historic Venice Circus Arena got some good news this week as they try to save something of the only arena in the United States built by a circus company. The Venice Gondolier Sun reports Venice’s City Council has agreed to send out an addendum to contractors bidding to tear down the 1960s Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus Arena, to save the interior bleachers, so the Circus Arts Foundation can use them in a future fundraiser.
