The Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office says added traffic at Englewood Beach from spring breakers and others on vacation have made it tougher to find legal parking spaces.

Deputies have found double parked cars, cars parked between trees, and cars parked on the road and bike paths.

The office claims people have parked cars in places that have “no parking” signs.

Anyone receiving a ticket for improper parking must pay a fine of 118 dollars.

This issue has nothing to do with vehicles parked in the beach parking lot that might not have paid the beach meter.
