Authorities now have a large package of cocaine in their custody.
It turned up in an Englewood park on Saturday morning.
The Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office says someone at Don Pedro State Park found it floating in the water.
Wrapped with clear plastic, it weighed nearly 2.6 pounds.
The narotics unit plans on investigating this package.
The sheriff’s office has praised the person who found it, calling it another case of “see something, say something.”
