With a June 30th closing of Warm Mineral Springs possible, the North Port City Commission is scrambling for ways to keep it open. The Commission today gave the City Manager a green light to try and work out a short-term lease with a third party, effective July 1, to keep the facility open and give a share of future profits to the city. That Herald-Tribune reports the third party could be the current concession holder, Cypress Lending Group, but today’s decision opens the door to discussions with others interested parties.
