This weekend, North Port residents will get a chance to tell city leaders what they’d like their city to look like in 2030.

Vice Mayor Jacqueline Moore’s assembled Community Conversation Unity North Port, and 200-people will hopefully show up at the Morgan Family Community Center Saturday to talk about what they’d like North Port to look like down the road. The Herald-Tribune reports the presentation will include a look at the city’s comprehensive plan, including eco-tourism and getting to natural areas. Sarasota County Commissioner Christine Robinson will be there to talk about county projects tied to the environment.
