North Port’s about to change. City Commissioners are planning to split North Port into 5-districts. The Herald-Tribune reports commissioners have given a green light to a request for information from consultants that have experience in coming up with a district map where the population numbers are similar. They want to have district maps done by December and ready for the fall 2016 elections.
