A Nokomis man has injuries following a crash today.
The highway patrol says 24-year-old Martin Rudis rode his bicycle south on Orange Grove Avenue towards Edmondson Road.
The patrol believes Rudis failed to stop at a stop sign, and he rode his bike into the path of an ambulance.
He went to Sarasota Memorial Hospital with critical injuries.
Neither the driver of the ambulance nor a passenger had any injuries.
Rudis did not wear a helmet.
