Saturday is cleanup day in Nokomis. To help out, Sarasota county is putting temporary dumpsters at three locations. You can drop off trash from 8 until 3 Saturday at Nokomis Park Community Center, the intersection of River Boulevard and Adriatic Street or the intersection of Colonia Lane and Shadylawn Avenue. Hazardous materials such as paint, auto parts and electronics should taken to 8750 Bee Ridge Road instead.
