Manatee County officials may build a new high school to reduce overcrowding at Palmetto High School.
The county commission today considers a plan at a land use meeting.
The Herald-Tribune reports the new high school would pop in Parrish at Erie and Martha roads.
School starts in Manatee County this coming Wednesday.
