Sarasota County has a new Fire Marshal. He’s Richard Fulwider, who takes the job following the retirement of Jane Ross-Herrin. Fulwider has been with the county for seven years as a fire inspector and plans reviewer. He previously was fire chief for the Cedar Hammock Fire-Control District, where he served for 24 years
