For the third time, Sen. Bill Nelson wants the labor department to investigate the state’s new computer system for unemployment benefits.
Since CONNECT began operating in October, over 50,000 Floridians have spent some time waiting for benefits because the system did not process claims.
The state continues withholding payments to the system’s vendor until it runs completely bug-free.
