Investigators have now identified the couple killed in an apparent murder-suicide in Sarasota County. Officers say 69-year-old Ronald Eldridge and his 67-year-old wife, Beverly, died in their home near Bee Ridge Road. Officers were called to the address late Tuesday afternoon but identification was not immediately available. So far no word on exactly how they died or the reason for the murder-suicide.
