High grass and weeds have been a source of irritation for residents who live near Panacea and Plantation Boulevards in North Port. On Tuesday night, the city commission voted to mow the Panacea section and then look into taking over maintenance of that area. But the city of North Port said the Plantation section is the responsibility of private owners.
