An investigation of the June drowning of an 11-month old baby boy’s led to the arrest of is 24-year old mother, Sharon Swat. NBC2 reports she told investigators she’d left the toddler alone in the bathtub while she put his bottle in the kitchen sink. She said when she returned, the tub was overflowing, and the child was face down and unresponsive. Authorities say when they tested, after more than 30-minutes, the tub had not overflowed. Police concluded she left her son alone for over 34-minutes. She was charged Saturday with with child abuse (causes great bodily harm or disability).
