A Christmas Day theft has members of an Englewood church very unhappy.
It’s being considered an act of disrespect to men and women in uniform. Someone stole seven flags from the poles in the memorial garden at Englewood East Church of Christ. One of them was a brand new American Flag. Jim Ratliff, the church’s pastor, and a Marine Corps Vet, tells WINK he wonders if people still respect the flag. There is a surveillance camera near the garden, and Ratliff says you can see the flags coming on the video, but not who lowered them. While police look for suspects, Ratliff says they’re considering better security.
