This guy apparently has trouble following directions.
45 year old Lashay Smith had just appeared before a judge in a Sarasota courthouse on contempt charges after he was arrested for driving with a suspended or revoked license — for the sixth time.
The judge told him not to drive, but as he left the courtroom, deputies watched as he drove off in a white Mercury.
Smith was immediately taken into custody…again.
The sheriff’s office says this is Smith’s 50th arrest in Sarasota County for a variety of crimes, and half of those arrests were for Violation of Probation and Contempt of Court.
