An married Englewood couple, both physicians, have been indicted by a federal grand jury for allegedly conspiring to hide millions in assets and income in offshore bank accounts. Dr. David Frederick and Dr. Patricia Hough, were members of the board of directors of two Caribbean based medical schools. The indictment alleges Fredrick and Hough conspired with each other and with Beda Singenberger, a citizen and resident of Switzerland who’s been indicted in New York, and a UBS banker to defraud the IRS. Part of this involves $33-million netted from the sale of real estate at one of those two medical schools that ended up in a one of the accounts controlled by the doctors, but not in their names.
