The Sarasota County Sheriff’s says 20-year old Juan De Dios Rodriguez of Bradenton’s being held without bond in the Sarasota County Jail, charged with Manslaughter in the July 14th death of Tiaian “Andrew” Tian, manager of the New Dynasty restaurant. Detectives say they identified 3-men who pulled a dine and dash on a $35 restaurant tab that night. Two of them told detectives Rodriguez threw the punch that knocked Tian to the ground. That caused head injuries that led to his death. Both those men, authorities say, are considered witnesses. Deputies say Rodriguez is a documented gang member with a violent history that includes several weapons charges.
