Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office arrested a Bradenton man for drugs and seized cash during a traffic stop on Thursday evening. Robert Flanagan, 33, was pulled over for a traffic stop and refused to have his car searched. The deputy advised Flanagan of the K9’s ability to detect drugs and Flanagan admitted to smoking marijuana a few hours ago. Deputies say they found $193,925.00 in U.S. currency vacuum sealed in multiple bags in a toolbox.
