ENGLEWOOD, Fla. – A man was arrested after a card skimmer was found on an Englewood Synovus Bank ATM
An employee noticed an error on the ATM machine. He called a technician who found the yellow strip, indicating a skimmer was installed.
Authorities began their investigation by looking at security tapes and identified the vehicle at the ATM during the time of the installation.
They determined the license plate belonged to a rental vehicle. The rental company revealed that Paul Terry is suspected of installing the skimmer. Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office, located the car thru its GPS tracker and found Paul Terry pulling out of a Synovus and he was arrested.
