The birth certificates of children born to same-sex couples may now include both parents’ names.
The state health department now instructs all of Florida’s hospitals to have the names of both parents in married same-sex relationships on birth certificates of newborn children.
This has happened a year after an LGBT group successfully sued the state for the change.
