The investigation into that body found near the Charlotte-Lee county line has taken a turn.
Lee County is now investigating what they consider to be a homicide. Officials say their major crimes unit is investigating the death of a man, even though the body was found in a woods inside Charlotte County, and that happened last Wednesday. Investigators say the homicide likely occurred inside Lee County, based on evidence at the scene near State Road 31. The only victim that Lee County officials are offering is that the victim is identified as 30 year old Bryan Sorentino of Fort Meyers.
