The woman who was driving an SUV in an accident that killed three people and injured four others in February, will not be allowed behind the wheel of a vehicle for 12 months. 79-year old Doreene Landstra must also pay a $1000 fine, and pass a driving test before her license can be reinstated. Landstra pleaded no contest to charges connected with the accident, and some of the families of the victims have filed civil suits. The husband of one of the victims said Landstra had previously driven her car into a McDonald’s, and says her license should have been suspended then.
