A federal judge has ordered Florida’s Department of Corrections to give kosher meals to any inmates who want them.
The special meals must go to those who believe that keeping kosher remains important to their religious beliefs.
The state says other inmates take advantage of the system and increase food costs.
The case goes to trial this summer.
