A judge has raised the bond to $46,000 for a man charged with breaking into his employer’s business over the weekend and beating a dog to death with a tire iron. The Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office says the owner of John’s Automotive noticed his dog missing Sunday morning. After going over surveillance video later that day he told deputies he saw 52-year-old Kevin Koscielniak kill his dog. Koscielniak had been asked to leave Saturday after causing a disturbance.
