FLASH REPORT
Incident Type: Grand Theft of Cell Phones
Date/Time of Incident: 07/08/13, 3:00-5:00pm
Victim: Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile
Location of Incident: 4100-4200 Block of Tamiami Tr. and 2300 Block of Bee Ridge Rd.
Suspect: (2) black females (see attached surveillance photo)
On 07/08/13, Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to the above locations to investigate three separate incidents of cell phone thefts. The two suspects, described as black females entered the businesses and were able to disconnect the cell phones from the alarm cords without activating the alarm. A total of eight cell phones were stolen. One of the businesses was able to provide a surveillance photo of the suspects while inside the business (see below photo). The two suspects are possible driving a black new model passenger car possibly a Chevrolet product.
