The Sarasota County Commission has given the go-ahead to a package of improvements for Manasota Beach Park. The park on Manasota Key will receive just over a million-and-a-half dollars worth of upgrades under a contract awarded to Magnum Builders of Sarasota. The project includes demolition of existing rest rooms and construction of a new rest room pavilion. Magnum will also build a new dune walk-over, a trash enclosure and a new storage and maintenance building.
