The governor announced today that I-75 will be widened from fourt to six lanes in Charlotte County beginning in 2018. The work will be done south of Jones Loop Road.
The Florida Department of Transportation will provide more than $58 million for the project, which Scott said will ease traffic flow and keep families and visitors safe.
