A Sarasota man is in serious condition after a crash on I-75 early this morning. Reports say 68-year-old Richard Dean was driving on the southbound 75 at Mile Marker 208 shortly before 12-30 this morning. Officers Dean’s vehicle strayed onto the right shoulder then left the roadway, spun several times and slammed into a pair of trees. No other vehicles were involved in the accident. Dean was taken to Blake Medical Center where he’s reported in serious condition this afternoon.
