In case you’re keeping track, this year’s hurricane season has officially ended. And again this year, Florida dodged a major hurricane. It’s the sixth straight year now since we were hit directly by a hurricane. This year, only Hurricane Irene and Tropical Storm Lee struck the U-S and they affected mainly Louisiana and North Carolina, although heavy rain did hit the Sunshine State.
