A woman hired to help an 83-year-old man has been accused of stealing more than $11,000 from him. Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrested Renee Rolston earlier this week. The victim, a Deep Creek resident, called authorities in September to report Rolston had defrauded him of $11,315.02. He said he hired her in April to help with housekeeping, caretaking and finance management. Rolston is free on $5,000 bond.
