How do you like those roundabouts that have been put in several Charlotte County neighborhoods to control traffic and slow things down? Many people apparently DON’T like them. Now, a grassroots group says it plans to petition Charlotte County Commissioners to get rid of some of them. The group is especially unhappy with roundabouts that were added as part of the Edgewater Boulevard widening project. Some area homeowners say the Commission ignored a 2009 community survey that indicated residents preferred traffic lights to roundabouts.
