A homeless man is dead after he was run over early this morning on Prineville Street and Tulane Avenue. The Florida Highway Patrol says the victim was laying in the street for an unknown reason. The driver of the car saw him and tried to swerve around him,, but it was too lead. He was pronounced dead at the scene. NBC2 reports the victim was 48-year old, but haven’t released any additional information. The driver of the car will not face charges.
