On the heels of a suggestion in Dr. Robert Marbut’s recent report on homelessness in Sarasota County, the Gulf Coast Community Foundation has brought in another national expert to review and help come up with a master case management system to streamline services for the county’s homeless. Shaun Lee visited with several service organizations late last week in the role of an independent consultant with expertise in master case management and the Homelessness Management Information System, or HMIS. The Englewood Sun reports Lee has experience working with the homeless and case management in St. Louis and San Antonio.
