District 5 Commissioner Charles Hines was elected Chair of the Sarasota County Commission today. 3rd District Commissioner Christine Robinson, was elected Vice Chair. They’ll take over those jobs as of January 1st 2014. Hines, elected to the Commission in 2012, is an attorney in Venice and has been practicing law for more than 20 years in Sarasota.
