Governor Scott now wants to bring one of America’s oldest universities to Florida.
He has asked Yale to move here.
In a statement, Scott says this Colonial university of three centuries “should look to move to Florida.”
He has cited Connecticut state taxes on the school and the lack of businesses taxes on Florida companies.
Yale has issued a response. It calls staying in Connecticut beneficial for the school.
