Gov. Rick Scott sent a letter to state health officials on Monday, urging a review of Medicaid contracts with hospitals and insurance companies across the state. Scott says the new managed care program is not generating enough savings, and he suspects some hospital rates are too high. Community Health System in Charlotte County reports that it is in compliance with all regulations.
