Republican presidential candidate Ben Carson will be in Sarasota tomorrow, not to campaign but for a book signing event at Bookstore1Sarasota. If previous book signings are any indication, Carson’s presence will still draw a large crowd–similar recent events have seen over 1,000 people in attendance. Protests are also planned outside the bookstore. The event is scheduled from noon to 1pm, and only those who purchase a book from the store will be allowed in to the signing.
