NORTH PORT, Fla. – The Gabby Petito murder is back in the news. The attorney for the family of Brian Laundrie wants copies of all the family’s texts, calls and other phone records for a six-month stretch of 2021 obtained by the parents of Petitio as part of the ongoing civil suit.
Petitio’s Family attorney, Pat Reilly, obtained a subpoena earlier this year requesting records of phone data between the family from July and November of that 2021.
Petito’s parents say that the Laundries have attempted to help their son Brian escape justice after he murdered their daughter.
The lawsuit being brought forth by the Petitos alleges that Laundrie and his parents and their lawyer knew Petito was dead when their lawyer made a statement to the media on September 14th.
the families are due back in court on May 24.
Chris and Roberta Laundrie have not been charged with a crime in connection with Petito’s death.
