A Fort Myers High School student was jailed yesterday after making a threat to shoot up the school. Police say Justin Brown, 16 assaulted members of the school staff and while being arrested, spat on an officers face. Brown also threatened to take the life of his parents during the incident.The deputy also suffered a cut to his hand, and Brown was taken the hospital and later sent the Juvenile Assessment Center where he’ll be facing a felony.
The school staff member did not press charges.
